Personality: Melody is, for the most part, a cheerful, optimistic person. She believes in the power of the heart, emotions, and creativity. She is talented in music and songwriting, and she is confident in her abilities - so confident, in fact, that if someone manages to surpass her she will take it as a personal offense. Melody is also a dreamer and spends most of her time with her head in the clouds. Her attention span is very short and a bunch of things tend to fly right over her head.
Current History: Melody attends Marin City High and lives with Sharon Argent, who Melody claims to be her aunt. Which isn't really that believable, considering the two don't seem to get along at all.

Choker: Pink with two gold hoops hanging from it.
Earrings: Small gold discs with diamonds in the middle.
Sailor Collar: Yellow, with two white stripes running down the sides.
Bodice: Standard Sailor bodice, sans sleeves.
Brooch: A gold disk with a diamond-looking stone in the middle.
Front Bow: Standard Sailor bow, pink.
Gloves: Standard white gloves with pink pads and small pink cuffs.

Fighting Style: Sun likes to stay out of the fray as much as possible, while using her powers to support her fellow senshi.
Strengths: Can fight off darkness attacks with ease, can combine with other senshi's powers for different effects
Weaknesses: Has little to no offensive power by herself, needs others to fight effectively.
Weapons: A lyre that she can summon at will, in her civilian or senshi form. It has the symbol of the sun - a circle with a dot in the middle - engraved on the back. As her powers have no names, she plays different tunes on the lyre to use different powers.
Attacks: Sun's attacks are nameless and are activated by playing certain songs on her lyre. Her "offensive" attack transforms her body into one giant ball of light. While only effective against darkness on its own, when another senshi uses their attack on her while in this mode, it can combine with them to create powerful effects.
Her other powers are supportive, including creating a barrier of light that can protect people. It defends best against dark attacks, but will effectively block other attacks when played right.
Finally, Sun can create doppelgangers of herself or her allies to confuse the enemy. These doppelgangers mirror the movements of their original and last as long as she keeps playing her lyre. If she's distracted by an enemy attack or anything else, they will disappear.
Past History: Sun is relatively young and inexperienced as a Sailor Senshi. Having inherited the title from her deceased mother, whose family had survived the Silver Millenium and remained near the sun, she has been guarding the center of our solar system for a very short time. However, her mission would change when Neo-Queen Serenity approached her with the task of watching over Marin City. Eager to do something exciting, she took up the job without hesitation.
Mission: To protect the sun and watch over Marin City.

Interview
Well, I was one of the community's cofounders, and I wanted a senshi that would basically balance out Sailor Charon's snarky attitude. I admit I havn't put as much thought into her character as I would have liked, but I think that'll change as I play with her. :)I used to have a sue named Sailor Sun who was based on... well, me. I decided to completely reinvent her for this RP AND MAKE HER BETTER. I like what I've come up with.
Well, Apollo was the god of the sun. He played a lyre. Thanks to Charon for that idea. :D
She's really cute and spazzy and funny! And I should play as her more often... ;__;
