I refuse to believe that the way I feel for you is a lie. I won't believe it's because of our pasts, futures, destinies, whatever. It's because of the here and the now. And even if I had been born a thousand times over, I won't bloody believe its because of those thousand lives that I think you're adorable when furious at me.

Even if our destiny is to run away together and get married or have children I know its not because we've done it before. Its because we feel like running away and doing whatever in the present. Who knows? We could shock someone and not run away.

So no one can tell me that because we were married a million years ago that right now I think your cheek is soft and squishy in the way I love to play with or that because we made a baby somewhere halfway across the universe I now think your smile is lovely.

Because even if it were true, I love you for you. And you're stuck with that, Orca.
