"AAH! OSRIC, I SET THE OVEN ON FIRE!!" Shizuka screamed, bursting into the bedroom where he was putting away clothes. Oroka was sitting on the bed, casually reading a novel.

"Again? Was it food or the actual oven?" He asked calmly.

"I-it's the cake! I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have set it at such a high temperature, b-but I had to leave for a tutor session soon s-so I thought it'd cook quicker." Shizuka said, stomping her feet in a weird dance of panic.

"Yo, Orca, could you roll me over the fire extinguisher from under the bed?" Osric asked, pushing himself up to his feet.

Marking her place with a bookmark, she dropped her novel and lazily rolled across the bed and bent over, pulling up a cover and rolling the extinguisher over. The blonde then yawned, picked her novel back up and started reading it.

The fire was put out (like it was every other day), and Shizuka salvaged the piece of chocolatey charcoal. She then rushed out the door, saying that she should be back at around 6, leaving Osric to resume his clothing duties.

"Nn, Osric?" Oroka asked, still reading her book.

"What?" He said, stuffing a pair of socks into a drawer.

"I would have never thought being together with you would be like this."

Osric looked over at her, confused. "What do you mean?"

"It's so calm. I mean, right now you aren't even trying to sneak a kiss or cop a feel." Oroka said, looking back over at him.

Osric chuckled. "Oh, that? Just a particular reason."

Now it was her turn to be confused. "What do you mean?"

He crept onto the bed and slid his arm around Oroka's waist, and as she readied a punch he whispered, "Don't you know? We shouldn't be 'together' unless Shizuka's out of the house."
