There were only two situations where Oroka wouldn't shove Osric away. Alone at night, when she was sleeping, and in the shining sun on the rooftop on the school, where no one could see them. Getting her to such a stage was near impossible, as she never wanted to be near him most of the time when she was falling asleep and the blonde had to be dragged up to the rooftop. But for her to not kick and flail when they got up to the roof or when she fell asleep was well worth it.
"I got your favorite drink, Orca." Osric grinned, holding the pop a few inches above her head.
"So?" Oroka snorted, ignoring the can and her own thirst.
"So I'll give you some and buy you lunch if you come sit on the roof with me."
She glared at him. But she was hungry and thirsty. Plus, all the other students had left, so it wasn't like anyone would know she was up there with Osric. She continued glaring at him for a minute, and since it didn't scare him away, she sighed and stood up. "Let's go, then."
When they reached the roof, they looked over the school grounds, Oroka not saying anything as she sipped her drink. Osric even put his arm around her, without her protest. She finished her drink and set the can on the ground. "Wasn't I promised a lunch, too?"
Osric looked sheepishly at her, "I forgot to buy one. We can go down together and get one."
"No thanks." Oroka said, standing up, "Lunch is almost over anyways. I'm going to class."
"No lunch, Orca?" He asked, standing up and hugging her before she started for the door.
Despite herself, Oroka didn't really mind the hug. Not too much, anyway. So she allowed it for a minute before she elbowed him in the ribs. "I'm not hungry." She walked to the door and opened it before Osric even replie
"Alright. I just owe you lunch tomorrow, too." Osric grinned.
"You wish!" Oroka said, slamming the door behind her.
