"I didn't know you had a balcony, Hiro." Shizuka said, looking out towards the view that could see the eastern half of Marin.

He nodded, taking off his coat and starting some tea on the stove. "Mom wanted one with a good view, it's why we chose to buy this apartment." Nonchalantly, he let Shizuka do her own thing as he started to make some drinks and snacks for his guest.

The night was falling quickly. Already some of the brighter stars were shining through the dark clouds. Sure that it must have been cold outside, Shizuka picked up her coat and shoes, opened the sliding door and sat down on the cement of the balcony. Despite the fact that the cold air, which made the cement floor absolutely freezing to sit on, was a bit chillier than her coat could handle, she was still comfortable and eager to watch the stars as they paraded out. "Mmm, that's Spica." The brunette nodded at the shining star, it being one of her personal favorites. "And that's... actually, that could be Venus. Or a UFO!" She giggled quietly to herself.

Hiroyuki hadn't noticed Shizuka's departure, since he had entirely absorbed himself in making the tea the right temperature for a night like this. He was naturally surprised when he turned around to find Shizuka, her coat and her shoes missing. A little worried that she had somehow disappeared, he peaked his head out the door, into the door of his room, checked to see if the bathroom was being used, checked his parents room, and finally investigated the space underneath the couch. Then in a moment of "Durr" he realized she must have been out on the balcony.

He slid the door open and saw Shizuka sitting cross legged on the concrete. "There's where you were."

"Hmm? Yeah, I'm right here. I think." She looked up at him for a moment, then continued to look at the sky. "Look! There's Polaris. Ursa Major, and Ursa Minor. Bootes. Oh, and one of my favorites, Draco!"

Hiro blushed, steaming up his glasses, "You like Draco?"

She nodded, "Yeah, he's really cool. I like the star Spica too, you know. Do you like a particular star, Hiro?"

He leaned over and gave her a cup of tea. "For some reason, I've always been fond of Polaris."

Shizuka took a sip of tea and yawned, resting her head on her friend's shoulder, "Yeah, Polaris is kinda neat, isn't it."

Nervously, he put his arm on her shoulder, "Very neat. Very, very neat."
