Chocolate

It was quite obvious to Oroka that Valentine's Day was invented by someone evil and conniving. Like Osric, perhaps. Yes, that seemed like the typical thing for him to do, invent a holiday just to grub chocolates from her. Shizuka, on the other hand, seemed happy to make the little bastard some chocolate.
"You're burning it." The blonde said, turning off the stove. That was the third time that day she'd had to turn it off because of the firey havoc she was wreaking.
Shizuka groaned, and walked off to go wash the pot again.
"I don't get why you don't just buy some chocolates." Oroka said, rolling her eyes over Shizuka's slaving.
The brunette looked over at her 'older sister' looking confused as to why she shouldn't. "Because it's only right to work to show how much you care about someone."
She rolled her eyes in response. What a stupid idea, working just to show someone you cared. Especially for one stupid holiday that was probably made up by men just to get chocolate.
"No, it's true! I bet Osric would be really happy if you got him some chocolate, since you're dating and all." Shizuka said, pleading her case even though Oroka hadn't really outwardly argued it.
Her left eye twitched, "Dating? Who told you that?"
"Osric." She said innocently, scrubbing out the burnt chocolate.
Should've figured. "And I suppose you're making this chocolate for your little boyfriend Hiroyuki, right?"
The brunette could not hide the raging red blush that had jumped up her cheeks. "H-he's not my b-boyfriend. He's a friend. And anyways t-this is for all my friends, not j-just Hiro."
"Whatever. It's stupid to make someone chocolate just to show you care for them."
"Haven't you ever made chocolate for someone on Valentine's Day?" Shizuka rinsed out the pan and began to gather the ingrediants once more.
The blonde stood quiet for a moment. She had once made chocolate. Ever since then, she refused to make chocolate herself, since it was such a long and annoying process. Yet as much as she hated to admit it, she was happy to see him so happy at recieving a gift.
Oroka sighed and pulled out a second pot. "Here, you should cook it like this." Shizuka happily gave her a hug, before the blonde gruffly shrugged her off. Oroka read from the recipe book like she had not too long ago, showing the other girl how to properly make chocolate.
"I told you it's good to show how much you care for someone!"
"Shut up."
